Counseling Perspective ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to visitors and clients in Singapore (PDPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR), as well as other jurisdictions where similar rules apply.
1. Information we collect
- Newsletter: email address (and optionally first name) when you subscribe.
- Contact form: name, email, subject, message, IP, and user-agent.
- Chatbot: anonymous session ID and the messages you send. No real identity unless you provide it.
- Analytics: with your consent, Google Analytics 4 cookies and aggregated usage data.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or deliver the newsletter.
- To improve the site (aggregated analytics).
- For security: rate limiting, abuse detection.
3. How long we keep it
- Newsletter subscribers: while subscribed; hashed after unsubscribe.
- Contact messages: 2 years (legal basis).
- Chatbot sessions: pruned 30 days after last activity.
- GA4: per Google's defaults (you can opt out anytime via cookie settings).
4. Processors
We use the following processors (each governed by their own privacy terms):
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, security.
- Mailchimp — newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe).
- Anthropic — AI chatbot responses.
- Google — Analytics 4 (only with consent).
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing info@counselingperspective.com.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
