Counseling Perspective

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in Singapore

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based talk therapy that assists in the identification and correction of limiting thoughts and harmful emotions. While originally developed as a treatment for depression, CBT has since proven effective at treating a range of mental illnesses including anxiety, OCD, PTSD, phobias, and eating disorders.

Starting from $150 / 60-min session

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

The goal of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is to break the cycle of destructive behaviours that are driven by negative emotional responses to distressing thoughts. CBT treatment helps to cultivate new, healthier thought patterns and behaviours that replace the old, unhelpful ones.

During your Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions, your therapist will train you in techniques designed to deconstruct and update your thoughts and emotions for the better. Over the course of several sessions, you will develop and reinforce the skills you need to create healthier thinking patterns.

If you would like to explore Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, please reach out via email, phone, or WhatsApp to book an appointment to speak to one of our qualified therapists.
